The applicant for any such license shall pay the amount of the fee as herein provided for , to the City Treasurer, who shall thereupon issue his receipt therefor, and upon presentation of such receipt to the City Clerk, said City Clerk shall issue such license . Section 3. The amounts to be paid for licenses for the purposes specified in Section 1 of this ordinance for each exhibition day are hereby fixed at the following rates, to-wit: For each and every circus, menagerie, or circus and menagerie, or Wild West show, which is transported upon railway cars from place to place, there shall be paid for each car used in transporting the same for the first twenty-five ( 25 ) cars Five ( 45.00 ) dollars per day; for each additional car over twenty-five and not- to ex- ceed forty cars Four ( $4.00 ) dollars per day per car ; for each additional car over forty and not to exceed sixty cars, Three ( 43.00 ) dollars per day per car ; for each additional car over sixty and not to exceed seventy cars Two ( 42.00 ) dollars per day per car, and. for each additional car over seventy One ( 41.00 ) dollar per day per car ; provided however , that the total fee for any such circus, men- agerie and menagerie and circus, or Wild West show shall in no
