April 1, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Community Health and Safety <br />Committee meeting and provided a legislative update. <br /> <br />President Schwab reported on his attendance at the Community Health and Safety Committee <br />meeting, thanked the Police Department for data-driven policing, and provided an update on <br />upcoming events in District 3. He also advised that Dr. Paul Pitre, WSU Everett’s Chancellor, will <br />be stepping down as Chancellor and returning to a faculty role. Dr. Pitre has been instrumental <br />in introducing medicine majors to WSU’s Everett satellite campus. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson did not have any report but thanked the public <br />commenter and advised the public commenter has been given contact information for Ryan Sass <br />in Public Works. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall did not have a report. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8288 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$4,631,844.74 for the period of March 14, 2026, through March 20, 2026. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – EVERETT POLICE PROEPRTY ROOM FACILITY TENANT IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Botesch, Nash & Hall <br />Architects, P.S., to provide architectural and engineering services for the Everett Police <br />Property Room Facility Tenant Improvement in an amount not to exceed $273,800. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
