Action Submittals <br />1. Procedure: Section 01 33 00: <br />2. A copy of this specification section with each paragraph check-marked to indicate <br />specification compliance or marked to indicate requested deviations from <br />specification requirements. <br />3. Check-marks () shall denote full compliance with a paragraph as a whole. <br />Deviations shall be underlined and denoted by a number in the margin to the right of <br />the identified paragraph. The remaining portions of the paragraph not underlined will <br />signify compliance on the part of the Contractor with the specifications. Include a <br />detailed, written justification for each deviation. Failure to include a copy of the <br />marked-up specification sections, along with justification(s) for any requested <br />deviations to the specification requirements, with the submittal shall be sufficient <br />cause for rejection of the entire submittal with no further consideration. <br />4. Complete product literature, including mixing, handling and placement instructions <br />for the following: Cementitious non-shrink grout, epoxy grout, adhesive for reinforcing <br />bar dowel grouting, concrete repair mortar, and prepackaged cement grout products <br />to be used on the project. <br />5. Mix design for cement grout that is not prepackaged, including product data for <br />aggregates and cement in accordance with Section 03 30 00. <br />6. Current ICC Evaluation Service reports for adhesives used for reinforcing dowels. <br />7. Installer certification in accordance with ACI/CRSI Adhesive Anchor Installer <br />Certification Program for installers of horizontal or upwardly inclined reinforcing bar <br />dowels grouted using adhesive. <br />8. Certified test results verifying the compressive strength, shrinkage and expansion <br />requirements specified herein. <br />1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Quality Control by Owner <br />1. The Owner will provide the services of a qualified Special Inspector in accordance <br />with Section 01 45 23. <br />2. Adhesive anchors installed in horizontal or upwardly inclined orientations to resist <br />sustained tension loads shall be continuously inspected during installation by a <br />Special Inspector. <br />a. The Special Inspector shall furnish a report to the Engineer, Owner’s <br />Representative and Building Official that the work covered by the report has been <br />performed and that the materials used and the installation procedures used <br />conform with the approved Project Manual and the Manufacturer’s Printed <br />Installation Instructions (MPII).
