Provide the services of an independent testing laboratory which complies with the <br />requirements of ASTM E329 if a product other than those listed below is proposed <br />and test data is not available from the supplier to demonstrate equivalence to the <br />specified grout. The testing laboratory shall sample and test the proposed grout <br />materials. Costs of testing laboratory services shall be borne by the Contractor. <br />C. Certifications <br />1. Installer certification shall be in accordance with ACI/CRSI Adhesive Anchor Installer <br />Certification Program for installers of horizontal or upwardly inclined reinforcing bar <br />dowels grouted using adhesive. <br />D. Compression test specimens will be taken during construction from the first placement of <br />each type of grout and at intervals thereafter as selected by the Engineer to insure <br />continued compliance with these Specifications. <br />1. Compression tests and fabrication of specimens for epoxy grout will be performed as <br />specified in ASTM C579, Method B, at intervals during construction as selected by <br />the Engineer. A set of three specimens will be made for testing at seven days and <br />any other time period as appropriate. <br />2. Compression tests and fabrication of specimens for cement grout and non-shrink <br />grout will be performed as specified in ASTM C109 at intervals during construction as <br />selected by the Engineer. A set of three specimens will be made for testing at seven <br />days, 28 days and any additional time period as appropriate. <br />E. Manufacturer Qualifications <br />1. Manufacturer shall have a minimum of five years’ experience of producing products <br />substantially similar to that required and shall be able to submit documentation of at <br />least five satisfactory installations that have been in successful operation for at least <br />five years each. <br />2. When required, provide services of manufacturer's full-time employee, factory-trained <br />in handling, use, and installing the products required, with at least five years of <br />experience in field applications of the products required. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.01 CEMENTITIOUS NON-SHRINK GROUT <br />A. The grout material shall be an approved ready to use mixture requiring only water for use <br />at the job site. The 2-inch cubes shall have a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 <br />psi at 7 days and 7,000 psi at 28 days. <br />B. Cementitious non-shrink non-metallic aggregate grout shall be: <br />1.
