<br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />Project No. 180162 31 25 00 - 6 <br /> <br />pertinent rules and regulations conflict with these Specifications, the more stringent <br />provisions shall govern. <br />B. All fines imposed for improper erosion and sedimentation and control shall be paid by <br />the Contractor responsible for the work. <br />C. Do not allow activities which lead to violations of: <br />1. Local and state Water Quality Standards for stormwater discharge, including, but not <br />limited to surface water quality standards, ground water standards, sediment <br />management standards and human health-based criteria in the National Toxics Rule <br />(40 CFR PART 131.36) <br />2. Local agency sewer discharge permits if discharge is placed in sanitary sewer <br />system. <br />D. Conform to the requirements of any project permits. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Procedures: Section 01 33 00 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />B. Action Submittals: <br />1. A copy of this specification section, addendum updates included, with each <br />paragraph check-marked to indicate specification compliance or marked to indicate <br />requested deviations. <br />2. Temporary Erosion Control and Sedimentation Control (TESC) Plan <br />a. Modified TESC Plans shall meet all requirements of the applicable jurisdictions. <br />b. The TESC Plan shall cover all areas that may be affected inside and outside the <br />limits of the project (including all Owner-provided sources, disposal sites, and <br />haul roads, and all nearly land, streams, and other bodies of water). <br />c. Allow at least 5 working days for Engineer to review any original or revised TESC <br />Plan. Failure to approve all or part of any such plan shall not make Owner liable <br />to Contractor for any work delays. <br />d. Provide proposed changes to the TESC Plans for approval by the Engineer per <br />jurisdictional requirements. Allow at least 5 working days for Engineer to review, <br />approve and incorporate any revisions to the current TESC Plan. <br />3. Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) <br />a. Prior to any construction activity, the Contractor shall submit, for the Engineer’s <br />approval, the SWPPP. Obtain Engineer’s approval of the SWPPP before any work <br />begins. <br />4. Stormwater Pollution Prevention and Spill Plan (SWPPS Plan) <br />C. Informational Submittals: <br />1. Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) <br />a. Submit name, credentials, experience and contact information. <br />2. Product data and literature for items specified in the Construction Documents <br />D. Construction Submittals: <br />1. Updates to the SWPPP and TESC Plans as required to complete the work
