An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of "Local Improvement District No. 285" , for the improvement of the alley between Colby and Hoyt Avenues from the north line of Hewitt Avenue to the center line of California Street, by grading, construction of sewer and complete drainage system, concrete curb, cement walks, and paving, and Going such other work as was necessary in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1499, and levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, fixing a date for the issuance of bonds , and providing for the sale of said bonds. THA CITY OF AVARATT D0ES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of "Local Improvement District No. 285" for the improvement of the alley between Colby and Hoyt Avenues from the north line of Hewitt Avenue to the center line of California Street, by grading, construc- tion of sewer and complete drainage system, concrete curb, cement walks, paving, and doing such other work as was necessary in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1499, as the same now stands , be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots , tracts and parcels of land or other property shown on said roll is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied and assessed against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll the amount finally charged against the same. � „,.
