2026 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Special Provisions <br />PW# 3860 SP - 6 March 5, 2026 <br />1 The Bidder shall submit with their Bid a completed Contractor Certification Wage Law <br />2 Compliance form, provided by the Contracting Agency. Failure to return this certification <br />3 as part of the Bid Proposal package will make this Bid Nonresponsive and ineligible for <br />4 Award. A Contractor Certification of Wage Law Compliance form is included in the <br />5 Proposal Forms. <br />6 <br />7 The Bidder shall make no stipulation on the Bid Form, nor qualify the bid in any manner. <br />8 <br />9 A bid by a corporation shall be executed in the corporate name, by the president or a <br />10 vice president (or other corporate officer accompanied by evidence of authority to sign). <br />11 <br />12 A bid by a partnership shall be executed in the partnership name and signed by a <br />13 partner. <br />14 <br />15 A bid by a joint venture shall be executed in the joint venture name and signed by a <br />16 member of the joint venture. <br />17 <br />18 1-02.6(1).RTF <br />19 Add the following new section: <br />20 <br />21 1-02.6(1) Recycled Materials Proposal <br />22 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) <br />23 <br />24 The Bidder shall submit with the Bid, its proposal for incorporating recycled materials into <br />25 the project, using the form provided in the Contract Provisions. <br />26 <br />27 f1-02.7.RTF.docx <br />28 1-02.7 Bid Deposit <br />29 (February 17, 2026 APWA GSP) <br />30 <br />31 Revise the third sentence of the first paragraph to read: <br />32 <br />33 For projects that are selected by the Contracting Agency to be Bid electronically, the <br />34 proposal bond may be in either a physical format, or an electronic format via ***N/A***. <br />35 <br />36 Supplement this section with the following: <br />37 <br />38 Bid bonds shall contain the following: <br />39 1. Contracting Agency-assigned number for the project; <br />40 2. Name of the project; <br />41 3. The Contracting Agency named as obligee; <br />42 4. The amount of the bid bond stated either as a dollar figure or as a percentage which <br />43 represents five percent of the maximum bid amount that could be awarded; <br />44 5. Signature of the bidders officer empowered to sign official statements. The signature <br />45 of the person authorized to submit the bid should agree with the signature on the <br />46 bond, and the title of the person must accompany the said signature; <br />47 6. The signature of the suretys officer empowered to sign the bond and the power of <br />48 attorney. <br />49
