2026 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Special Provisions <br />PW# 3860 SP - 32 March 5, 2026 <br />1 satisfactorily accomplished. The statement shall include the parcel number, address, and <br />2 date of signature. Written releases must be filed with the Engineer before the Completion <br />3 Date will be established. <br />4 <br />5 1-08.0.RTF <br />6 1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS <br />7 <br />8 Add the following new section: <br />9 <br />10 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br />11 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br />12 <br />13 1-08.0(1).RTF <br />14 Add the following new section: <br />15 <br />16 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br />17 (October 21, 2025 APWA GSP) <br />18 <br />19 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held <br />20 between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be invited. <br />21 The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br />22 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br />23 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or <br />24 affected by the work; <br />25 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, <br />26 submittals, etc.; <br />27 4. To review Training or Apprenticeship Plans, when applicable. <br />28 5. To discuss FSBE Goals when applicable. <br />29 6. To establish normal working hours for the work; <br />30 7. To review safety standards and traffic control; and <br />31 8. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. <br />32 <br />33 The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: <br />34 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; <br />35 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and <br />36 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. <br />37 <br />38 f1-08.0(2).RTF.docx <br />39 Add the following new section: <br />40 <br />41 1-08.0(2) Hours of Work <br />42 (February 17, 2026 APWA GSP) <br />43 <br />44 Except in the case of emergency or unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, the <br />45 normal working hours for the Contract shall be any consecutive 8-hour period between *** <br />46 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday *** and *** 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br />47 Sunday through Thursday for nightwork, or as required by section 2-03.3(1),*** exclusive <br />48 of a lunch break.
