April 15, 2026 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., April 15, 2026, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Weir, Zarlingo, Burbano, <br />Tuohy, Bader, Rhyne, and President Schwab were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Weir led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />President Schwab advised agenda items #11 and #12 have been moved to follow agenda item <br />#8. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin thanked those who attended the Sound Transit Town Hall at the Everett Station <br />yesterday and discussed the ordinances on the agenda pertaining to the Everett Outdoor Event <br />Center. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to concur with the <br />following appointments: <br /> <br /> CHIP Loan Review Committee <br />• Luis Ramon Aroche, Pos #A-3 – term expiring 12/31/2029 <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the April 8, 2026, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
