Page 6 <br />kimley-horn.com 2828 Colby Avenue, Suite 200 Everett, WA 98201 425-708-8275 <br />·Anticipated schedule for public engagement activities in alignment with key project <br />milestones <br />The SCOP will be developed in coordination with the City and the College and refined based on <br />agency input according to the project schedule. <br />Public Open House <br />Kimley-Horn will coordinate with the City and the College to identify topics for public input in <br />advance of the meeting, develop presentation materials, and document feedback received <br />during the open house. Public comments will be summarized and provided to the City for <br />consideration as the design progresses. <br />The City will host one (1) public open house during the Preliminary Design phase. Kimley-Horn <br />will support the open house by: <br />·Preparing project graphics and display materials, <br />·Assisting with meeting logistics and setup (in-person event), <br />·Providing staff to attend and facilitate the meeting, responding to questions, and <br />documenting comments <br />The purpose of the open house will be to provide project information and solicit public feedback <br />on selected project elements, to be determined in advance of the meeting by Kimley-Horn in <br />coordination with the City and the College. <br />Kimley-Horn will coordinate with the City and the College to identify appropriate topics for public <br />input, develop presentation materials, and document feedback received during the open house. <br />Public comments will be summarized and provided to the City for consideration as the design <br />progresses. <br />Documentation <br />Kimley-Horn will document agency coordination and public engagement activities completed <br />under this task. Documentation will include summaries of agency coordination and a public <br />comment summary suitable for the project record and funding documentation needs. <br />Assumptions: <br />l Agency coordination under this task is intended to be informational and advisory in <br />nature and does not include formal agency approvals. <br />l Public engagement under this task is limited to one (1) public open house. <br />l Public engagement material will be coordinated with and reviewed by the City and <br />anticipate two rounds of comments. <br />l The City will provide meeting venue, public noticing, and advertising. <br />l The City will provide existing branding standards and preferred communication <br />channels, if available. <br />Deliverables: <br />l Agency correspondence summaries – Electronic (PDF) <br />l Project information materials or presentation for agency coordination – Electronic <br />(PDF/PPT)
