Page 8 <br />kimley-horn.com 2828 Colby Avenue, Suite 200 Everett, WA 98201 425-708-8275 <br />Assumptions: <br />l Kimley-Horn shall be entitled to rely upon the completeness and accuracy of all <br />information provided by the City. <br />l The City shall provide a current Title Commitment for the referenced properties with <br />copies of or links to all documents listed in the commitment. <br />Deliverables: <br />l Autodesk Civil3d drawing – Electronic (DWG) <br />l Existing conditions sheet signed by a Professional Licensed Surveyor – Electronic (PDF) <br />Task 1.04: Geotechnical Analysis <br />Geotechnical engineering services for the project will be provided by HWA as a subconsultant <br />to Kimley-Horn. HWA will be responsible for planning, managing, and performing all <br />geotechnical investigation, analysis, and reporting required to support design and construction <br />of the pedestrian bridge and associated improvements. <br />Geotechnical services are anticipated to include subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, <br />geotechnical analysis, and the preparation of geotechnical engineering recommendations to <br />support foundation design, earthwork, temporary shoring, and construction considerations. <br />HWA will coordinate geotechnical recommendations with the design team and applicable <br />agencies as needed. Activities are anticipated to include: <br />Geotechnical Project Management <br />·Attend Project Kickoff Meeting: HWA will attend one project kickoff meeting with the City <br />of Everett and the design team. This meeting will review project objectives, <br />communication protocol, and schedule. HWA assumes that this meeting will take place <br />at the City of Everett’s Office. <br />·Project Coordination Meetings: HWA will attend up to twenty-four (24) project <br />coordination meetings with the design team. HWA’s attendance will be used to convey <br />the geotechnical considerations of the site to the City of Everett and the design team. <br />HWA assumes these meetings will take place virtually and be one-hour in duration each. <br />·Invoice Generation and Processing: HWA will prepare monthly invoices, and progress <br />reports for the duration of the design phase of the project. <br />·Geotechnical Task Management: HWA will provide geotechnical task management to all <br />geotechnical-related aspects of the project. HWA will correspond with the City and the <br />design team in the form of emails and telephone calls, as necessary. <br />Review Existing Geotechnical and Foundation Information <br />·Collect and Review Available Geotechnical Data: HWA will collect and review readily <br />available and relevant geotechnical information within the project site. This review will <br />include online geotechnical databases, geologic maps, and HWA’s library. HWA will <br />also coordinate with the city to obtain available geotechnical reports associated with <br />adjacent Everett Community College buildings.
