Page 24 <br />kimley-horn.com 2828 Colby Avenue, Suite 200 Everett, WA 98201 425-708-8275 <br />l Kimley-Horn will provide survey content and promotional materials. <br />l Survey distribution will occur through City and College communication channels. <br />l Alternatives will be developed at a conceptual level only and will not include preliminary <br />or detailed structural design. <br />l Alternatives will be limited to the identified crossing footprint between Liberty Hall and <br />CAS. <br />l Evaluation will be qualitative and comparative and will not include final design-level <br />analysis. <br />l Public engagement associated with Alternatives Analysis is limited to activities identified <br />under this task. <br />l One (1) bridge alternative will be selected and agreed upon prior to advancing to <br />Preliminary Design. <br />l The traffic analysis for this effort will not include signal timing analysis or preparation of <br />traffic control plans. <br />l One (1) MOT workshops to be held virtually for three (3) hours. <br />l MOT deliverables (roll plot, estimate, schedule, quantities) will be for information only to <br />help determine a preferred phasing alternative. <br />l MOT Workshop will be held prior to ~30% design deliverable so one solution is carried <br />through to Phase 2 of the project. <br />l Bridge aesthetics assume up to two (2) separate designated two (2) hour Visual Quality <br />meetings <br />l The City of Everett is understood to operate a combined storm sewer system within the <br />project area. <br />l Stormwater analysis during the Alternatives Analysis is conceptual and screening-level <br />in nature; detailed stormwater design and modeling will be completed during subsequent <br />design phases. <br />Deliverables: <br />l Alternatives Analysis memorandum – Electronic (PDF) <br />l Survey instrument (SurveyMonkey) and question development/logic – (PDF) <br />l Survey promotional toolkit – (copy/graphics/QR) <br />l Survey results summary (incl. raw export if desired) – (PDF + XLSX) <br />l Concept-level plan and profile exhibit for up to two (2) alternatives – Electronic (PDF) <br />l Up to two (2) Concept 3D renderings or visualizations for up to two (2) alternatives – <br />Electronic (PDF) <br />l Visual Quality Manual (+/-6-page document) including 2D and 3D drawings and graphics <br />reflecting bridge treatments that might include, railing types colors, textures, lighting, pier <br />and cap designs, abutments, and pedestrian experience elements on the bridge. <br />l Two (2) MOT phasing alternatives will be delivered as electronic (PDF) roll plots with <br />supporting data. High-level construction schedules will be developed. Summary of <br />evaluation criteria and comparative findings – Electronic (PDF) <br />Task 1.08: Preliminary (~30%) Design Deliverable <br />Kimley-Horn will advance the selected preferred alternative through Preliminary (~30%) Design <br />to establish the overall bridge layout, configuration, and design approach necessary to support <br />agency coordination, cost validation, and transition into detailed design.
