Page 37 <br />kimley-horn.com 2828 Colby Avenue, Suite 200 Everett, WA 98201 425-708-8275 <br />l Construction inspection, site observation, materials testing, and document control will be <br />provided by others under separate contract(s) with the City. <br />l Federal-aid construction documentation, including but not limited to certified payroll <br />review, DBE reporting, Buy America compliance, and construction-related federal <br />reporting, is not included. <br />l Construction support services shall be provided up to an agreed not-to-exceed level of <br />effort, defined as 80 RFIs and 55 submittals, with additional services subject to written <br />City authorization. <br />l Redesign resulting from unforeseen field conditions or changes to the approved plans <br />may require a scope amendment. <br />l Pre-construction meeting will be planned and scheduled by the City and Kimley-Horn’s <br />attendance is for design related discussion. <br />Deliverables <br />l Submittal and shop drawing review comments – Electronic (PDF) <br />l RFI responses related to design and technical clarification – Electronic (PDF) <br />l Engineering support correspondence – Electronic (PDF) <br />Overall Project Assumptions: <br />*Because the Service Provider does not control the cost of labor, materials, equipment or <br />services furnished by others, methods of determining prices, or competitive bidding or market <br />conditions, any opinions rendered as to costs, including but not limited to opinions as to the <br />costs of construction and materials, shall be made on the basis of its experience and represent <br />its judgment as an experienced and qualified professional, familiar with the industry. The <br />Service Provider cannot and does not guarantee that proposals, bids or actual costs will not <br />vary from its opinions of cost provided in project cost estimates. If the Client wishes greater <br />assurance as to the amount of any cost, it shall employ an independent cost estimator.
