Construction phase services under this task are intended to provide <br />technical clarification and design-related support during construction and do not include <br />construction inspection or contract administration. <br />Engineering Support Services <br />Construction phase engineering support is anticipated to include: <br />·Attendance of pre-construction meeting for up to three (3) staff. <br />·Review of contractor material and shop drawing submittals for general conformance with <br />the design intent of the Contract Documents. <br />·Responding to engineering and technical Requests for Information (RFIs) related to <br />design intent, details, and interpretation of the plans and specifications. <br />·Providing EOR review and technical input associated with design-related construction <br />issues identified during construction. <br />Kimley-Horn will coordinate with the City and the Construction Management team, as <br />applicable, to support timely resolution of design-related questions. <br />Roles and Responsibilities <br />The City will be responsible for construction inspection, document control, construction <br />management, contract administration, and acceptance of the work, either directly or through a <br />third-party construction management consultant. <br />Kimley-Horn’s role is limited to providing design-related technical guidance in support of <br />construction and does not include direction of the contractor’s means and methods. <br />Assumptions:
