SCOPE OF WORK <br />City of Everett – 2026 Summer Events & World Cup Fan Zone Public Relations Support <br />1. PROJECT OVERVIEW <br />The Consultant will provide strategic public relations, media outreach, and <br />communications support related to the City of Everett’s 2026 summer activation efforts, <br />including but not limited to the Official SeattleFWC26 Fan Zone Waterfront Watch Parties, <br />Rock the Boat, Music at the Marina, and related tourism, culture, and waterfront <br />programming. Services will focus on increasing regional awareness, supporting <br />attendance goals, and positioning Everett as a premier summer tourism destination <br />through earned media and strategic storytelling. <br />2. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide professional public relations and communications services, <br />including the following: <br />A.Media Relations & Strategic Communications <br />●Develop and execute a targeted earned media strategy supporting City-led summer <br />activations and waterfront programming. <br />●Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and select national media <br />outlets. <br />●Identify and pitch compelling story angles related to: <br />o World Cup Fan Zone activations <br />o Everett waterfront experiences <br />o Arts, music, tourism, and cultural programming <br />o General tourism and destination storytelling <br />●Coordinate and facilitate media interviews, press opportunities, and on-site media <br />engagement. <br />B.Press Materials & Outreach <br />●Draft and distribute press releases and media advisories related to key events, <br />announcements, milestones, and activations.
