City of Everett 00 2113 - 6 <br />2026 WPCF Biosolids Removal & Disposal UT 3752-30 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />00 2113 - 6 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />1-02.4(1)B Prevailing Wages <br />Bidder is directed to the Contract Documents for requirements regarding applying <br />payment of prevailing wage rates for employment of labor on within Snohomish <br />County. <br />All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the <br />performance of the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or other person <br />doing Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate of wage as defined in <br />RCW 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage rates may be found online at <br />https://www.lni.wa.gov/licensing-permits/public-works-projects/prevailing-wage- <br />rates. The rules and regulations noted within the Contract Documents are available <br />from: <br />State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries <br />Prevailing Wage Section <br />PO Box 44540 <br /> Olympia, WA 98504-4540 <br /> (360) 902-5335 <br /> pw1@lni.wa.gov <br />Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such <br />requirements. No claim for additional compensation will be allowed that is based <br />upon a lack of knowledge of these requirements or a failure to include adequate <br />increases in such wages over the term of this Contract in the Bidder's Bid. <br />1-02.4(1)C Apprentice Utilization <br />If this Project is subject to apprentice utilization requirements, then such <br />requirements will be contained in SECTION 00 7373 APPRENTICE UTILIZATION. <br />If there is no SECTION 00 7373 APPRENTICE UTILIZATION in the bid package, <br />then the Project is not subject to apprentice utilization requirements. Bidders are <br />advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such requirements. No <br />claim for additional compensation will be allowed that is based upon a lack of <br />knowledge of these requirements. <br /> <br />1-02.4(2) Subsurface Information <br />If the City has made subsurface investigation of the site of the proposed Work, the <br />boring log data and soil sample test data accumulated by the City will be made <br />available for inspection by the Bidders. The City makes no representation or <br />warranty expressed or implied that: <br />1. The Bidders’ interpretations from the boring logs are correct, <br />2. Moisture conditions and indicated water tables will not vary from those <br />found at the time the borings were made, and <br />3. The ground at the location of the borings has not been physically <br />disturbed or altered after the boring was made. <br />The City specifically makes no representations, guarantees, or warranties as to <br />the condition, materials, or proportions of the materials between the specific <br />borings regardless of any subsurface information the City may make available to <br />the prospective Bidders.
