City of Everett 01 3300 - 1 <br />2026 Biosolids Removal and Disposal UT 3752- 30 <br /> <br /> <br />01 3300 - 1 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br /> <br />SECTION 01 3300 - SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. To ensure that the specified products are furnished and installed in accordance <br />with the design intent, procedures have been established for advance submittal <br />of design data and for its review by the City. <br />B. Electronic submittals of shop drawings or other documents required for approval <br />may be substituted for paper copies. Electronic submittals must be submitted <br />utilizing current portable document format (PDF) software. All electronic <br />submittals shall be certified documents and digitally signed showing Contractors <br />review, and stamp showing approval of submittal. All electronic submittals shall <br />be book-marked. A table of contents is required and shall be placed directly <br />behind the cover page. Document properties shall include the Job Name, <br />Division (Section Number), and items included in submittal. Prior to use of <br />Electronic submittals, discuss with City, procedures and formatting including any <br />additional contents to be included within the document. <br />C. Related Work: <br />1. For individual submittals required, refer to the pertinent sections of these <br />specifications. <br />2. Section 00 7200 General Condition, Article 2.4 <br />3. Make all submittals required by the Contract Documents, revise and <br />resubmit as required to establish compliance with the specified <br />requirements. <br />4. Wherever possible throughout the Contract Documents, the minimum <br />acceptable quality of workmanship and materials has been defined by <br />manufacturer’s description of required attributes and performance. <br />1.2 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Make all submittals of shop drawings, samples, requests for substitution, and <br />other similar items in strict accordance with the provisions of this section of the <br />specifications. <br />1.3 IDENTIFICATION OF SUBMITTALS <br />A. Consecutively number all submittals. Accompany each submittal with a letter of <br />transmittal showing the transmittal number, date of transmittal, specifications <br />section or drawing number to which the submittal pertains, brief description of the <br />material submitted, and the company name of the originator of the submittal.
