City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 <br />2026 WPCF Biosolids Removal & Disposal UT 3752-30 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />00 1113 - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2026 Biosolids Removal and Disposal will be <br />received at the City Clerk, 1st Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, WA, <br />98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. At this appointed time, all bids/proposals <br />will be opened and read aloud publicly via live streaming, or bidders may attend the bid opening <br />in person at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Suite 9E, Everett, WA 98201. The link to view the live streaming <br />bid opening can be found at: https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. <br /> <br />The engineer’s estimate for this project is $4,000,000. <br /> <br />1.1 The project includes, is not limited to, dredging, dewatering, hauling, and disposing of <br />4,00 dry tons of solids from the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) Oxidation Pond, <br />and performing all other work as required by the contract. The City of Everett owned <br />WPCF is located at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett WA. Contractor is expected to <br />conduct their operations and manage the dewatered biosolids on the City’s Biosolids <br />Pad. Mandatory pre-bid walk-throughs are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on February <br />26th, 2026 and at 10:30 a.m. on March 4th, 2026. All bidders are required to attend a <br />walk-through one of the two dates provided. Prospective bidders will meet at the WPCF <br />for the walk-through. Any questions and/or answers from these walk throughs that may <br />affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the <br />plan holders. <br />A. <br />Free-of-charge access to project bidding documents (plans, specifications, addenda, bidders list, <br />and other documents, if any) is provided to bidders, subcontractors, and vendors at <br />www.bxwa.com by clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This <br />online plan room provides bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, <br />view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online <br />digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e- <br />mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders <br />List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to <br />periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
