City of Everett 00 1113 - 2 <br />2026 WPCF Biosolids Removal & Disposal UT 3752-30 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />00 1113 - 2 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />All bids/proposals must be made upon the City forms provided in the bidding documents and must <br />be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than <br />five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid/proposal, all in accordance with the bidding <br />documents. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond (and a one hundred percent <br />(100%) payment bond, as may be required in the bidding documents), on form(s) provided by the <br />City, will be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive any irregularities or <br />informalities. Except as may be provided in the bidding documents, no bidder may withdraw its <br />bid/proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof. <br />The City further reserves the right to make the award as deemed in the best interest of the City. <br />The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of 45 days after bid opening. <br />The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations <br />pertaining to equal employment opportunities. <br />The City, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d <br />to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that, in <br />any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will <br />be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be <br />discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an <br />award. <br />By order of the City Council, Everett, Washington. <br />END OF SECTION 00 1113
