ORDINANCE NO. \ • An ordinance providing for the improvement of Norton Avenue extension from the north line of the Robinson T•Tanufacturing Company property north to the city ltuits; also the Fourteenth Street Dock from Norton Avenue extension west for a distance of 1520 feet, by repairing present trestle, be repiling, recapping, bracing, and by the complete construction of a new trestle, and doing such other -work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 1866 , creating a local improvement district therefor, creating a local imp rovanent district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment on property in said district by mode of 'Immediate Payment'.. THE, CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Norton Avenue extension from the north line of the Robinson Manufacturing Company property north to the city limits ; also the Fourteenth Street Dock from Norton Avenue extension west for a distance of 1520 feet, be improved by repairing present trestle, repiling, recapping, bracing, and by the complete construction of a new trestle, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made accord- ing to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direc- tion of the City Engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district hereby created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner, for any portion of such improvement.
