It d Cf ^ k $T ORDINANCE NO. ,)1 An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of local improvement district N . 268, for the improvement of the alley between Rucker and Hoyt Avenues from Twenty-fifth Street to Twenty-fourth Street, by clearing and grubbing, grading, and paving with concrete, together with the construction of necessary man-holes , catch basins , and drains for the proper drain- ing of the district, and such other work as may be necessary for the improvement of the district under Ordinance No. 1403, and levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as shorn on said roll, and fixing a date for the issuance of bonds, and providing for the sale of said bonds. TT DOES 'ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of local improvement district No. 268, for the improvement of the alley between Rucker and Hoyt Avenues from Twenty-fifth Street to Twenty- fourth Street, by clearing and grubbing, grading, paving with concrete together with the construction of necessary man-holes, catch basins and drains for the proper draining of the district, together with such other work as may be necessary for the improvement of the district under Ordinance No. 1403 as the same now stands, be, and the same is hereby in ' all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots , tracts, and parcels of land or other property shown on said- roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied and, assessed' against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon.
