June 3, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />JM Wong, K Chen, JH Chen, William Parent, Rene Pairoa, Cindy Lewis, John Peeples and Kate <br />Walden. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Several Council Members thanked the public commenters, congratulated the new police officers <br />and wished everyone a Happy Pride Month. <br /> <br />Council Member Weir stated this upcoming weekend is Sorticulture and June 20th is the Everett <br />Pride Block Party. She commented on her attendance at the District 1 Town Hall, a ribbon cutting <br />at Northpoint Recovery Services, and the Health and Safety Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo commented on his attendance at the Central Puget Sound Economic <br />Development District Board meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne commented on language interpretation and access during public <br />comments, advocating at the state level for accessibility for massage practitioner licenses, and <br />Paratransit service levels. She commented on her attendance at the AWC Large City Advisory <br />committee meeting. Council Member Rhyne stated the upcoming Port Gardner Neighborhood <br />meeting is Monday and June 12 is the Jackson Elementary PTA end-of-year BBQ. <br /> <br />Council Member Burbano commented on a tour he took of Everett Parks. <br /> <br />Council Member Touhy also commented on advocating at the state level for accessibility for <br />massage practitioner licenses. <br /> <br />President Schwab thanked the attendees who interpreted for other public commenters. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Senior Executive Director Mike Fong had no report. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Deputy City Attorney Ramsey Ramerman requested a 10-minute executive session pursuant to <br />RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) with possible Council action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />
