• <br /> For any other tent 'show or amusement given under canvas by <br /> a traveling exhibitor or company, fifty ($50.00) dollars per day; <br /> two hundred ($200.00) dollars per week; or. six hundred dollars <br /> (e600.00) per month. <br /> For each opera house or public hail , fifty dollars <br /> ($50.00) per year, payable annually; provided, that the owner or <br /> licensee of any public hail or opera house or edifice where the <br /> public assembles , excepting all places where malt, spiritous or <br /> ,r. <br /> fermented liquors are sold or drunk, may procure a license therefor <br /> as above, which license shall cover all exhibitions or entertain- <br /> ments given therein during the continuance of said license. <br /> Any owner, lessee or manager of any public hall, opera <br /> house or edifice where public entertainments are given, as above <br /> described, who shall permit the use of such public place for any <br /> of the above exhibitions therein, without having first taken out <br /> the license required for such public place or for the exhibitions <br /> given, for which licenses are required, shall be subject to . the <br /> penalty described in section 5 of this ordinance. <br /> For a shooting gallery, two dollars ($2.00) per week; <br /> five dollars ( 5.00) per month. <br /> For a skating rink, twenty-five ($25.00) dollars per <br /> year, payable annually; provided, however, that it: shall be unlaw- <br /> ful to operate any such rink under any license on Sunday. <br /> For a 'penny arcade' fifty (050.0o,) -dollars per year. <br /> For a cane, knife or doll rack, Punch and Judy show, or <br /> other similar entertainment, two ($2.00) dollars per day; five <br /> ($5.00) dollars per week; ten ($>10.oa) dollars per month. <br /> The proprietor,manager or agent of any summer festival, <br /> street fair, carnival or exposition held in any building, enclosure, <br /> tent, or other place, to which an entrance fee is charged, shall pay <br /> a license fee of fifty ($50.00) dollars per day, payable in advance; <br /> provided, however, that nothing in this ordinance contained shall be <br /> construed so as to require a license fee to be paid for amateur ex- <br /> hibitions or peeformances , made or given for the benefit of any <br />
