Sec . 6: That from and after Tuly 1, 1912, the salary and compensation to be paid to the following named officers of the city of Everett and their assistants is hereby fixed as follows: Chief of police, one hundred dollars per month; chief of detectives , one hundred dollars per month; four detectives , eighty-three and tzirty- three hundredths dollars per month each; eight patrolmen, eighty-three and thirty-three hundredths dollars per month each; one detective severity-five dollars per month; two drivers, seventyfive dollars per month each.
