• THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the city council of the city of Everett be, and it is hereby authorized and directed to secure as soon as possible all necessary data and information concerning the avail- able permanent water supplies for the city of Everett for the pur- pose of determining the most desirable permanent water supply for said city, and it is herbby authorized to make the proper and necessary appropriations to pay the cost of securing this data and information. Sec. 2: When the city council secures such data and information it is hereby authorized and directed to determine the most desirable permanent water supply for said city, and to prepare--- plans for securing such supply, and to prepare plans fc.�: construct' ing a water system for said city, and to prepare plans for securing the funds necessary to acquire such supply , aru ta construct said water system, and to submit said plans to the voters of the city of Everett.
