The regulations contained in this title are administered through various types of permits <br /> and approvals. This chapter together with the City's Local Project Review Procedures <br /> Ordinance describes the types of permits, tells who is responsible for processing the <br /> permits, and refers to the appropriate review process by which the permit shall be <br /> reviewed. The actual procedures required under each review process are described in the <br /> City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 2 : That Chapter 41 of Ordinance No. 1671-89 (EMC 19.41.020) which <br /> reads in part as follows: <br /> General. <br /> A. Responsibility of Administration. The zoning code is administered by the planning <br /> department, under the direction of the planning director. <br /> B. Permits and Approvals. Various sections in this title require certain permits or <br /> approvals. This chapter describes the types of permits and approvals required by this title. <br /> C. Application Constitutes Permission for Entry. Application for any permit, approval or <br /> appeal constitutes permission for representatives of the city to enter on the property <br /> involved in order to make necessary inspections. Inspections shall be made in accordance <br /> with subsection 41.030D. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> General. <br /> A. Responsibility of Administration. Enforcement. Enforcement of the provisions of this title and of any permits or <br /> approvals issued pursuant thereto shall be performed by the code compliance officer <br /> according to the procedures established in this title and Ordinance No. 1383-87 (as <br /> amended). <br /> B. Violation. No person, firm, association, corporation or any agent thereof shall violate <br /> or fail to comply with any provisions of this title nor use any property, erect any <br /> structure, occupy or use any structure or place any improvement on any property in <br /> violation of any provision of this title.
