Applicant Initiated. Prior to submittal of an application for consideration by the city, <br /> an applicant may request a preapplication conference in order to familiarize <br /> himself/herself with development requirements, review procedures or other relevant <br /> information. The focus of the conference shall be general in nature, for informational <br /> purposes only and none of the discussions shall be interpreted as a commitment by either <br /> the city or applicant. <br /> 19.42.070 Ownership lists. <br /> Some of the review processes contained within this section require notification of <br /> property owners and residents in the project vicinity. It is the responsibility of the <br /> applicant to obtain accurate ownership information for the properties which must be <br /> notified, using the records of the county assessor's office. Where the listed owner is a <br /> bank or mortgage company, the applicant shall supply the name of the mortgagee. Each <br /> application instruction sheet will indicate what the notification requirements are for a <br /> particular review process. <br /> 19.42.080 Notification. <br /> A. Where notification is required as part of a particular review process, such notice shall <br /> be mailed by the city to the persons on the property owner's list supplied with the <br /> application as well as any other persons who have requested notification and any person <br /> or formally recognized neighborhood organization in the affected area who the planning <br /> director determines should be notified. The notice shall be provided as required in the <br /> underlying land use action and shall contain the following information: <br /> 1. The name of the applicant; <br /> 2. The address or locational description of the subject property; <br /> 3. A written description of the requested action; <br /> 4. The date of public hearing/meeting and/or the date by which written comments must <br /> be received; <br /> 5. The name, address and phone number of the staff contact person; <br /> 6. A project vicinity map. <br /> B. Posting of Property. Where posting is required as part of a particular review process, <br /> such notification shall be posted conspicuously in two places on or near the subject <br /> property and shall be readily accessible for the public to review. The posting notice shall <br /> contain the information listed in subsection A of this section. <br /> C. Publication in Official City Newspaper. Where legal publication is required as part of <br /> the notification for a particular review process, the notification shall be published in the <br /> official newspaper for publication of city legal notices at least ten days prior to the date of <br /> hearing or date of decision. <br /> 19.42.090 Process I - Code compliance verification for permits and licenses issued by <br /> other departments. <br /> A.
