SECTION 24: That Ordinance No. 1671-89 (EMC 19.31.070) which reads in part as <br /> follows: <br /> Modification of design criteria. An applicant may request a modification of the design <br /> criteria contained within the adopting ordinance. The modification request shall be <br /> reviewed by the planning commission using Review Process V.B, described in Chapter <br /> 42 of this title. Following planning commission consideration of the modification, the <br /> recommendation of the planning commission shall be reviewed by the city council. In <br /> order to approve a request for modification, it must be found that the requested <br /> modification does not alter the character desired for the area and is consistent with the <br /> intent of the city council in adopting the design overlay zone classification. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Modification of design criteria. A proposed <br /> PRD will be reviewed by either the hearing examiner using Review Process III.B, or by <br /> the planning commission using Review Process V.B,based upon the following criteria: <br /> 1. Review Process V.B—PRD proposals containing more than fifty dwelling units, <br /> unless proposed to be developed in conjunction with a plat. <br /> 2. Review Process III.B—All PRD proposals not specified in subsection 1 of this <br /> section. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Review authority—Review process for planned residential developments.
