1 CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> r� CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> BID ITEMS FOR <br /> SEWER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT AND CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> SEWER"M" PHASE II <br /> WO No. UP3470-10 <br /> BID ITEM A-1 & B-1: SURVEYING <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> The lump sum bid for surveying includes all costs associated with furnishing all labor, tools, <br /> survey instruments materials, and other equipment necessary for setting and monitoring <br /> location, elevation, alignment and grade of the work as specified in Section 1-05.4 of the <br /> Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions and the Drawings. <br /> The lump sum bid item also includes full compensation for furnishing all labor, tools, survey <br /> instruments, materials and other equipment necessary for verifying the rim and invert <br /> elevations, prior to construction, of all existing sewerage and storm drains and appurtenances <br /> where connections are to be made. <br /> The lump sum also includes full compensation for furnishing all labor, tools, survey instruments, <br /> materials and other equipment necessary for obtaining the "as constructed" location and <br /> elevations of the Contract work, in particular, sewer pipe invert elevations and other information <br /> necessary for production of the Record Drawing (As-Constructed) documents meeting the <br /> requirements defined in Section 1-08.11 of these Special Provisions. <br /> Measurement for surveying shall be the ratio of actual pipe installed and backfilled to the total <br /> quantity of pipe listed in the proposal. <br /> BID ITEM A-2 & B-2: CONTRACTOR'S LIAISON <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum <br /> This lump sum bid item includes full compensation for providing an employee dedicated full-time <br /> as a Community Project Liaison to coordinate access and other needs of business owners and <br /> residents within the area affected by the project.
