TYPE 3 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot In addition to the measurement per each, manholes in excess of 10 feet in height as measured from the flow line to the surface of the Work will be measured per linear foot for each additional foot of height over 10 feet. ' The unit price per linear foot shall be full compensation for all labor, material, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as defined in these Contract Documents. ' Measurement of manhole height for payment purposes shall be the distance from the flowline of the outlet pipe to surface of the Work measured to the nearest foot. BID ITEM A-33: DROP MANHOLE CONNECTION Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each The Unit Price for each drop connection shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the construction of an outside drop connection at an existing or ' new manhole as defined in the Contract Documents. This pay item includes, but is not limited to, all excavation, dewatering, hauling, dewatering, core drilling, pipe, fittings, blocking, concrete encasement, and compacted backfill necessary to construct an outside drop per COE Standard Drawings 608 for one sewer pipe of the diameter indicated on the Plans.
