CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS BID ITEM A-45 & B-41: SURVEY MONUMENTS Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each The unit price per each for Survey Monument shall be full compensation for furnishing and placing the survey monument and monument case and cover, in accordance with the COE Standard Drawings and Standard Specifications, Special Provisions Section 8-13, in conformity with the lines and locations shown on the Plans. Also included is processing all necessary forms with Washington DNR. Measurement shall be each survey monument replaced and reset including case and cover furnished and set and adjusted to grade. ' Payment for this bid item shall be made in accordance with Section 1-09.1. BID ITEM A-46 & B-42: PAVEMENT MARKING LMeasurement and Payment: Lump Sum This lump sum bid item includes full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and other equipment necessary for restoring and replacing permanent traffic marking such as stop bars, crosswalks, reflectors, delineator, etc. and lane or fog-line striping removed or damaged by the Contractor's work in accordance with COE Standard Drawings 720 and 721 and Contract Documents. Costs for applying and removing temporary pavement traffic markings are incidental to this pay item. This bid item shall include replacement and restoration of traffic markings (lane striping) ' beyond the immediate vicinity of the work, or the total extent of pavement markings damaged by the contractor, plus an additional length of up to 100 linear feet. All traffic marking will be thermoplastic type unless otherwise noted on the plans or approved by the Engineer. BID ITEM A-47 & B-43: GRASS SEED AND TOPSOIL TYPE A ' Measure and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard The unit contract price per square yard for "Grass Seed and Topsoil Type A" shall be full pay for providing the source of material for topsoil Type A, for pre-excavation weed control, excavating, loading, hauling, intermediate windrowing, stockpiling, weed control on stockpiles or windrows, and removal, placing, spreading, processing, cultivating, compacting topsoil Type A, and placement of grass seed in accordance with Section 8-01, 8-02, and 9-14.
