A City-owned Parks Department vehicle <br /> collided with the rear of plaintiffs legally stopped vehicle. Ms. Taylor-Montz sustained injuries and sought <br /> to recover$250,000.00 from the City. A mediated settlement of$60,000.00 has been reached pending City <br /> Council approval. The City Attorney's Office recommends approval of this settlement which would include <br /> a full release for any and all claims arising from this event. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the Lawsuit Settlement of Taylor-Montz v.
