Therefore, <br /> the former AT&T Broadband entities will adopt Comcast names uniformly. <br /> On November 18, 2002, we notified you that, in connection with the closing of the merger <br /> between AT&T Broadband and Comcast, the name of the new ultimate parent company was <br /> changed from "AT&T Comcast Corporation" to "Comcast Corporation," and the intermediate <br /> parent company was changed from "AT&T Broadband Corp." to "Comcast Cable <br /> Communications Holdings, Inc." <br /> We are pleased to announce that the cable operator in your community, Everett Cablevision, <br /> Inc., has changed its name to Comcast of Everett, Inc. This is merely a name change and does <br /> not act to dissolve the corporation or transfer any of its assets. Accordingly, there has been no <br /> transfer of the franchise serving your community, and Comcast of Everett, Inc. will continue to <br /> be obligated to abide by all terms and conditions of the franchise with your community, subject <br /> to applicable law. <br /> We are providing you notice of this name change as a matter of courtesy and consistent with <br /> our desire to keep you fully informed regarding activities that relate to the cable service being <br /> provided in your community. No action is required on your part with respect to this matter. <br /> Please note that the name change of the cable operator will not impact our local brand name at <br /> this time.
