State Department of Ecology <br /> Structural Deficit Advisory Team Briefing <br /> Presented by Paul Kaftanski, Parks <br /> Mayor Stephanson thanked Paul Kaftanski for leading the structural deficit <br /> effort, senior staff that helped to develop and evaluate the menu of <br /> options, City employees who submitted suggestions, and the City Council <br /> and community who helped work through the process to determine the <br /> best path forward. <br /> Paul Kaftanski provided a list of upcoming community-wide and city <br /> employee meeting dates and announced the development and launch of <br /> a new structural deficit webpage effective Thursday, April 3, 2014. <br /> Council Member Murphy requested that statistical information be provided <br /> as council members begin to review program reduction ideas. He also <br /> asked for the date of the last Everett Transit fare increase and additional <br /> information related to utility taxes.
