I <br /> 1 completion dates shown on the Baseline Schedule; and (3) comparison of expected <br /> I <br /> 2 start and completion dates for work to occur after submission updated progress <br /> 3 schedule to the planned start and completion dates shown on the Baseline <br /> 4 Schedule. Work remaining to be completed at the end of a period for an activity <br /> 5 should show the remaining duration required to complete that activity. The percent <br /> I <br /> 6 complete for that activity should also be shown. If during the course of construction <br /> 7 the Contractor desires or feels it necessary to make changes in the schedule logic, <br /> 8 these changes should be identified, highlighted, and specifically and expressly <br /> I <br /> 9 brought to the attention of the Representative and City along with the schedule <br /> 10 update. <br /> 11 3. An updated progress schedule shall show changes occurring since submission of the <br /> I <br /> 12 previous updated progress schedule such as: <br /> 13 a) Any major changes in scope; <br /> 14 b) Activities modified since previous submission; <br /> 15 c) Revised projection for construction completion, as applicable; and <br /> 16 d) Any other changes. <br /> 17 4. Contractor shall submit an updated progress schedule for review by the City and <br /> 18 Representative, at the weekly construction meeting or as otherwise as requested by <br /> 19 Representative or City. Any deviation from the Baseline Schedule shall be explained <br /> 20 by the Contractor, including the cause and effect of the deviation. Contractor shall <br /> 21 state in writing the corrective measures it will take to bring the progress of the Work <br /> 22 back in line with the Baseline Schedule. <br /> 23 5. Once an actual start or completion date is stated in a submitted progress schedule, <br /> 24 Contractor shall not change it in any subsequent schedule without prior written <br /> 25 agreement of the City and Representative. <br /> 26 6. With each submitted updated progress schedule, Contractor shall provide a written <br /> 27 narrative report that identifies anticipated or actual deviations from the Baseline I 28 Schedule, causes of the deviations, and the impact of the deviations on the schedule <br /> 29 and describes the corrective action taken or proposed, and its effect. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 1-08.3(3) Schedule Format and Content <br /> 32 1-08.3(3)A Schedule Format <br /> 33 All schedules shall be in the following form: <br /> 34 1. Network analysis system using the current version of Microsoft Project software <br /> 35 and the critical path method, as outlined in The Associated General Contractors <br /> 36 of America (AGC) publication "The Use of CPM in Construction -A Manual for <br /> I <br /> 37 General Contractors". <br /> 38 2. Sequence of Listings: The chronological order of the start of each activity of <br /> 39 work. Listings on Progress Schedule and Schedule of Values shall be the same. <br /> 40 3. Scale and Spacing: To provide space for notations and revisions. <br /> 41 4. Each schedule and update shall be provided in three (3) paper copies and three <br /> 42 (3) electronic copies in current Microsoft Project 98 format. Paper copies must be <br /> 43 on a single sheet of paper and of sufficient size to allow legibility of schedule. <br /> 44 Pieces of the schedule on separate sheets of paper that must be taped together <br /> 45 to form schedule are not permitted. Electronic copies must be submitted on <br /> 46 either separate CD-ROMs or 3.5" floppy disks. <br /> 47 5.
