I 1 completion dates shown on the Baseline Schedule; and (3) comparison of expected I 2 start and completion dates for work to occur after submission updated progress 3 schedule to the planned start and completion dates shown on the Baseline 4 Schedule. Work remaining to be completed at the end of a period for an activity 5 should show the remaining duration required to complete that activity. The percent I 6 complete for that activity should also be shown. If during the course of construction 7 the Contractor desires or feels it necessary to make changes in the schedule logic, 8 these changes should be identified, highlighted, and specifically and expressly I 9 brought to the attention of the Representative and City along with the schedule 10 update. 11 3. An updated progress schedule shall show changes occurring since submission of the I 12 previous updated progress schedule such as: 13 a) Any major changes in scope; 14 b) Activities modified since previous submission; 15 c) Revised projection for construction completion, as applicable; and 16 d) Any other changes. 17 4. Contractor shall submit an updated progress schedule for review by the City and 18 Representative, at the weekly construction meeting or as otherwise as requested by 19 Representative or City. Any deviation from the Baseline Schedule shall be explained 20 by the Contractor, including the cause and effect of the deviation. Contractor shall 21 state in writing the corrective measures it will take to bring the progress of the Work 22 back in line with the Baseline Schedule. 23 5. Once an actual start or completion date is stated in a submitted progress schedule, 24 Contractor shall not change it in any subsequent schedule without prior written 25 agreement of the City and Representative. 26 6. With each submitted updated progress schedule, Contractor shall provide a written 27 narrative report that identifies anticipated or actual deviations from the Baseline I 28 Schedule, causes of the deviations, and the impact of the deviations on the schedule 29 and describes the corrective action taken or proposed, and its effect. 30 31 1-08.3(3) Schedule Format and Content 32 1-08.3(3)A Schedule Format 33 All schedules shall be in the following form: 34 1. Network analysis system using the current version of Microsoft Project software 35 and the critical path method, as outlined in The Associated General Contractors 36 of America (AGC) publication "The Use of CPM in Construction -A Manual for I 37 General Contractors". 38 2. Sequence of Listings: The chronological order of the start of each activity of 39 work. Listings on Progress Schedule and Schedule of Values shall be the same. 40 3. Scale and Spacing: To provide space for notations and revisions. 41 4. Each schedule and update shall be provided in three (3) paper copies and three 42 (3) electronic copies in current Microsoft Project 98 format. Paper copies must be 43 on a single sheet of paper and of sufficient size to allow legibility of schedule. 44 Pieces of the schedule on separate sheets of paper that must be taped together 45 to form schedule are not permitted. Electronic copies must be submitted on 46 either separate CD-ROMs or 3.5" floppy disks. 47 5.
