I <br /> 1 1. All Progress Schedules must: <br /> 2 a) Include essential sub-schedules of related activities. <br /> 3 b) Allow for timely incorporation of any other's work under separate Contract with <br /> 4 City. <br /> I5 c) Allow for timely incorporation of work provided and installed by City. <br /> 6 d) Include submittals to agencies required for performance of work with sufficient, <br /> I <br /> 7 adequate and reasonable time for review, comment and return submittals. <br /> 8 e) Allow for appropriate durations to complete activities that may be affected by <br /> 9 weather during the time of year the activities are performed. <br /> ' 10 f) Identify logical connections, dependency upon preceding or succeeding <br /> 11 activities, restraints or constraints, planned start and completion dates, <br /> 12 duration, actual start and completion dates, and variances. <br /> 13 2. Activity durations shall not exceed twenty (20) days. The activities shall be related to <br /> 14 early and late start, early and late finish, and Float dates. <br /> 15 3. Activities listed in the Preliminary Schedule shall be included in all subsequent <br /> I 16 schedules. No activity in the Preliminary Schedule shall be deleted without prior <br /> 17 written consent of the Representative and City. <br /> 18 4. Contractor shall notify Representative and City in writing and highlight the addition of <br /> I <br /> 19 any activity to any schedule after the Preliminary Schedule. <br /> 20 5. The Baseline Schedule shall be part of the construction contract. <br /> 21 6. Each activity shall be identified with a number that incorporates the specification <br /> I22 section number. <br /> 23 7. Activities shall be consistent and identified with the Schedule of Values (if applicable) <br /> 24 or unit prices of the bid schedule. All elements and items in the Schedule of Values <br /> I25 or unit prices in the bid schedule shall appear in the progress schedules. <br /> 26 8. Contractor shall provide sub-schedules for each stage/phase of Work as required by <br /> 27 City, Representative, or subcontractor. <br /> I28 9. All schedules shall be reviewed by subcontractors prior to submission to the City and <br /> 29 Representative. At the City's option and sole discretion, City may require Contractor <br /> 30 to obtain written acceptance of each schedule by subcontractors as practical and <br /> I31 feasible, as the schedule relates to subcontractors' work. <br /> 32 10. Contractor shall provide sub-schedules to define major portions of the entire <br /> I <br /> 33 <br /> 34 schedule. Include long-lead-time items, such equipment or material that requires <br /> long fabrication time (e.g., electrical items). Order these well in advance of required <br /> 35 delivery time to sequence with overall construction schedule. <br /> I <br /> 36 <br /> 37 11. Each schedule shall show accumulated percentage of completion of each activity, <br /> and total percentage of Work completed, as of the date of payment application. <br /> 38 12. Contractor shall include in each schedule as activities the submission, review, and <br /> I 39 correction of Submittals, Shop Drawings, Product Data and Samples. The schedule <br /> 40 should show: <br /> 41 a) The dates for Contractor's Submittals. <br /> I 42 b) A minimum of ten days duration for City or Representative's review. <br /> 43 c) Indicate decision data for selection of finishes. <br /> 44 d) Show submittal preparation, submission, review, breakdown, etc. Show <br /> 111 45 individual parts of major submittals. <br /> 46 13.
