I <br /> 1 the work specifically required in the Contract Documents to be placed into use and/or <br /> I <br /> 2 operation before completion of the entirety of the work. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 1-08.10(12) Possession of Incomplete Portions of the Project <br /> I 5 <br /> 6 Should the Contractor fail to meet any date specified for Substantial Completion or <br /> 7 Physical Completion of work or any portion of work requiring early possession and use <br /> I 8 by the Owner, the Owner may, after a 10-day Notice to the Contractor, take over such <br /> 9 portion or any work that is behind schedule. In such case, the Owner's Representative <br /> 10 will prepare a list of incomplete work taken over by the Owner. The cost of Owner's <br /> Ii 1 work will be charged to and deducted from amounts due to the Contractor. The <br /> 12 Substantial Completion date of the entire or a portion of the Project will be established <br /> 13 as the date when the Owner actually begins using the Project or portion of the Project for <br /> 14 its intended purpose. Division of responsibilities between Owner and Contractor, <br /> I <br /> 15 beginning of warranties, and any other issues relating to Substantial Completion shall be <br /> 16 as specified in section 1-08.5A Substantial Completion <br /> 17 <br /> I 18 1-08.11 Record Drawings <br /> 19 <br /> 20 1-08.11(1) Description <br /> I 21 <br /> 22 This section specifies the requirements for preparing record drawings. The Inspector, <br /> 23 with the cooperation and assistance of the Contractor, is responsible for marking up <br /> I <br /> 24 <br /> 25 record drawings during the course of construction. The record drawings shall be kept up <br /> to date at all times during the course of construction. <br /> 26 <br /> I 27 The Inspector will verify the record drawings are accurate and complete before <br /> 28 accepting the Contractors monthly pay request. If the record drawings are not current or <br /> 29 accurate, the pay request will not be processed. <br /> 30 <br /> I31 As the contract approaches Final Acceptance, the Inspector and Contractor shall <br /> 32 prepare a complete and accurate set of record drawings. The Inspector must approve <br /> 33 the record drawings prior to Final Acceptance. Final Acceptance will not be issued <br /> I <br /> 34 until the record drawings have been accepted by the City. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 1-08.11(2) Recording Changes <br /> I <br /> 37 A As a minimum, record the following items on the record drawings: <br /> 38 1. Actual dimensions, arrangement and materials used when different than shown on <br /> 39 the Drawings. <br /> I <br /> 40 <br /> 41 2. Changes made by Change Order or Field Order. <br /> 3. Changes made by the Contractor. <br /> 42 4. Horizontal and vertical locations of underground utilities and appurtenances, must <br /> I 43 be referenced to monumentation. The monumentation must be based on NAD 83- <br /> 44 91 for Horizontal Datum and NAVD 88 for Vertical Datum. <br /> 45 5. Any changes in centerline profile and curb & gutter (top of curb), offsets and <br /> I <br /> 46 elevations. <br /> 47 6. Details or materials used that were not shown on the original drawings. <br /> 48 7. The actual arrangement and routing of conduit, embedded conduit, raceways and <br /> 49 piping relative to its location and proportioned to other work. The location needs to <br /> I50 be dimensioned on the record drawings. <br /> 51 8. Contractor prepared piping schematics and diagram drawings representing the <br /> 52 equipment orientation. <br /> I <br /> RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT NORTH WETLAND COMPLEX 71 <br />
