Measurement by the Ton: Where items are specified to be paid for by the ton it will I 29 be the Contractor's responsibility to see that a certified weight ticket is given to the 30 inspector on the project at the time of delivery of materials for each truckload 31 delivered. Pay quantities will be prepared on the basis of said tally tickets, delivered 32 to the inspector at time of delivery of materials. Tickets not received by inspector on I 33 day of delivery will not be honored for payment. 34 35 B. Lump Sum Breakdown: The Contractor shall, within 10 days of receipt of notice to I 36 proceed, submit a complete breakdown of all lump sum bid items showing the value 37 assigned to each part of the work including an allowance for profit and overhead. 38 Upon acceptance of the breakdown of the contract price by the Engineer, it shall be I 39 used as the basis for all requests for payment.
