I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS DOCUMENT 00 21 13 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> B. Completeness: <br /> 1. Upon receipt of Bidding Documents,verify that documents are complete. <br /> 2. Notify City if documents are incomplete. <br /> C. Immediately notify City in writing upon finding discrepancies or omissions in Bidding <br /> Documents. <br /> 1.9 SITE EXAMINATION <br /> A. Examine Project Site before submitting a Bid. <br /> 1. Inspect site of the Work by personal examination, physical testing, or by such other <br /> means as Bidder prefers, of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical <br /> conditions of and at the Site, surface and subsurface conditions, and conditions ordinarily <br /> to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work. <br /> 2. If, during the course or as a result of such inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder <br /> finds facts or conditions that appear to conflict or are omitted from the Contract <br /> Documents, or with other data or material made available relating to the Work, Bidder <br /> shall so notify the City in writing, and may apply to the City for additional information <br /> and explanation before submitting their Bid. <br /> B. A project site visit has been arranged for Bidders at on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, immediately <br /> following the pre-bid meeting. <br /> C. Attendance <br /> 1. Prime Bidders:Attendance at site visit is recommended. <br /> 2. Subcontractors: Attendance at site visit is recommended. <br /> D. Representatives of City and Port will attend. Attendees will meet at the Port of Everett TWIC <br /> building located at 2928 Terminal Ave. before being escorted to the project site. <br /> 1.10 PREBID MEETING <br /> A. See Document 002513 Pre-bid Meetings. <br /> 1.11 INQUIRIES AND ADDENDA <br /> A. Should a Bidder find what is believed to be discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings or <br /> Specifications, or should the Bidder be in doubt as to their meaning, Bidder may submit to the <br /> City an emailed or faxed written request for an interpretation. <br /> B. Direct questions in writing to Arnie Roshak, P.E., City of Everett Public Works,facsimile (425) <br /> 257-8856 or e-mail at aroshak@everettwa.gov. <br /> C.
