Replies will be made by Addenda,which may be issued during Bidding period. <br /> 2. Addenda will be published online on Washington Builders Exchange website. <br /> 3. Addenda become part of Contract Documents. <br /> F. Include resultant costs in Bid Sum. <br /> 1.12 PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS <br /> A. Requests for product substitutions will not be accepted before execution of Contract; refer to <br /> SECTION 016000 -PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS for substitution procedures. <br /> B. Changes in the Work: <br /> 1. In submitting substitutions to specified products, the Contractor shall include changes <br /> required in the Work and changes to Contract Time and/or, Contract Sum to <br /> accommodate such approved substitutions in their Bid. <br /> 2. Later claims by the Contractor for an addition to the Contract Time or Contract Sum <br /> because of changes in Work necessitated by use of substitutions will not be considered. <br /> C. Approval to submit substitution requests prior to submission of Bids is not required. <br /> 1.13 SUBMISSION PROCEDURE <br /> A. Bidders shall be solely responsible for delivery of Bids in manner and time prescribed. <br /> B. Submit one copy of executed offer on provided Bid Forms found in the Contract Documents, <br /> signed and sealed with required security deposit in a closed opaque envelope, and clearly <br /> identified with Bidder's name and address, Project name and number, contract number, and <br /> Owner's name on outside. <br /> C. The submission of a Bid by the Bidder shall constitute acknowledgment that, in preparing and <br /> submitting a Bid, Bidder has not only reviewed the Contract Documents, Bidder is also relying <br /> on their own knowledge,examination,inspection,and testing of: <br /> 1. the Site of the Work, <br /> 2. access to the Site, <br /> 3. environmental factors, <br /> 4. all other data,matters and things requisite to the fulfillment of the Work, I <br /> 5. conditions ordinarily to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work, <br /> 6. available services and utilities at and in the vicinity of the Site of the Work,and I <br /> 7. all applicable federal, state and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations dealing with <br /> building, public health and safety, or with the prevention of environmental pollution and <br /> the preservation of public natural resources, and environmental assessments or impact <br /> statements which have been prepared relating to the Work. <br /> PSO6 REROUTE 002113 -4 <br /> WO NO.—UP3583 MAY 2016 <br /> I <br />
