An abstract summary of submitted Bids will be made available to all Bidders following Bid <br /> opening. <br /> 1 1.14 BID INELIGIBILITY <br /> A. Bids that are unsigned, improperly signed or sealed, conditional, illegible, and obscure, or Bids <br /> that contain arithmetical errors, erasures,alterations,or irregularities,may be rejected. <br /> B. Do not qualify Bids, since this will automatically be cause for rejection of the Bid. <br /> 111 <br /> 1.15 BID SECURITY <br /> iA. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid security as follows: <br /> 1. Bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents of a sum no less than 5 percent <br /> of Bid Price. <br /> a. The surety shall: (1) be registered with the Washington State Insurance <br /> Commissioner, and(2)appear on the current Authorized Insurance List in the State <br /> of Washington published by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. <br /> 1 2. Certified or Cashier's check in the amount of a sum no less than 5 percent of Bid Price. <br /> B. Endorse Bid bond on the form provided in the Contract Documents in name of Owner City of <br /> Everett as obligee, fully executed by principal(Contractor)and surety. <br /> C. If accepted Bidder fails to execute the Agreement and indicated bonds and insurance within 14 <br /> days after Notice of Award,Notice of Award may be annulled and Bidder's Bid security will be <br /> forfeited as liquidated damages. <br /> D. Include cost of Bid security in Bid Sum. <br /> E. After Bid has been accepted,Bid security will be returned to respective Bidders. <br /> F. If no contract is awarded,Bid security will be returned. <br /> 1.16 PERFORMANCE ASSURANCE <br /> A.
