I <br /> I CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS SECTION 01 10 00 <br /> PSO6 REROUTE SUMMARY <br /> I C. Time Restrictions for Performing Work: Contractor's work hours shall be limited to Monday <br /> through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No work shall occur <br /> on Sundays or holidays. <br /> ID. Utility Outages and Shutdown: <br /> 1. Coordinate and schedule electrical and other utility outages with Property Owner. <br /> l 2. Outages: Allowed only at previously agreed upon times. <br /> 3. At least one week before scheduled outage, submit Outage Request Plan to Engineer <br /> itemizing the dates,times,and duration of each requested outage. <br /> IE. Construction Plan: Before start of construction, submit electronic pdf copies of construction <br /> plan regarding access to Work, use of Site, and utility outages for acceptance by the City and <br /> Port. After acceptance of plan, construction operations shall comply with accepted plan unless <br /> Ideviations are accepted by City in writing. <br /> I1.5 WORK SEQUENCE <br /> A. Construct Work in order to accommodate Property Owner's occupancy requirements during <br /> construction period. Coordinate construction schedule and operations with Engineer. <br /> IB. Sequencing of Construction Plan: Before start of construction, submit electronic pdf copies of <br /> construction plan regarding phasing of demolition and new Work for acceptance by City. After <br /> I acceptance of plan, construction sequencing shall comply with accepted plan unless deviations <br /> are accepted by City in writing. <br /> i1.6 PROPERTY OWNER OCCUPANCY <br /> A. Property Owner will occupy Site during entire period of construction. <br /> IB. Coordination: <br /> 1. The Contractor shall coordinate its activity with Port shipping operations, so that <br /> I interference with Port activities will be minimized. <br /> 2. Temporary vehicle traffic detours within the Terminal shall be provided by the Port. <br /> Pedestrian detours within the terminal shall be as shown on the Drawings. <br /> 1 1.7 PERMITS <br /> I A. Furnish necessary permits for construction of Work including the following: <br /> 1. Obtain Discharge Authorization from the City for discharge of dewatering water and <br /> construction stormwater to the sewer system. <br /> I1.8 SPECIFICATION CONVENTIONS <br /> I A. These Specifications are written in imperative mood and streamlined form. This imperative <br /> language is directed to Contractor unless specifically noted otherwise.
