<br /> PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES
<br /> f. Perform specified construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
<br /> g.Perform specified Quality Control testing,inspection,monitoring,documenta-
<br /> tion,and reporting,and facilitate Quality Assurance testing,inspection,monitoring,
<br /> and documentation activities being conducted by representatives of the Port and the
<br /> City.
<br /> h. Obtain and submit materials and equipment tests and certifications,guarantees,
<br /> warranties,and other information for controlling the quality of the work.
<br /> i.Prepare and submit specified Record and As-Built Drawings.
<br /> 2. Payment for Field Engineering and Surveying shall be on the basis of the
<br /> lump sum price stated in the Bid Form. Measurement for this pay item shall be estimated
<br /> on the basis of the percent complete, relative to the overall bid price and the actual
<br /> progress toward project completion.
<br /> 3. Item 3: Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Section 01 57 13.
<br /> Work under this pay item includes, and is not limited to: installing and maintaining all
<br /> necessary stormwater management, surface water runoff control, and temporary erosion
<br /> and sedimentation control (TESC) measures and best management practices (BMPs)
<br /> including, but not limited to: diverting stormwater to limit runoff from entering
<br /> excavations; supplying, installing, and maintaining catch basin inlet protection and
<br /> temporary plugs in storm drain lines that are located within or near the work area;
<br /> supplying, installing, and maintaining all necessary temporary sedimentation and erosion
<br /> control measures needed to protect partially completed work and prevent sediment
<br /> 111
<br /> transport from exposed soil surfaces and temporary stockpiles to surface water or
<br /> adjacent work and non-work areas; and management of stormwater in accordance with
<br /> the Specifications.
<br /> Payment for Temporary Erosion and Sedimentation Control shall be on the basis of the

<br /> 4. Item 4: Traffic Control, Section 01 50 00.
<br /> Includes, and is not limited to: redirecting foot traffic around and/or through the work
<br /> area, establishing separate control setups if construction is taking place at more than one
<br /> location or heading, setting up and taking down traffic control measures as required when
<br /> work is in progress or shut down, establishing and maintaining detours around the work
<br /> zone,including maintaining continuous access for Port operations,in accordance with the
<br /> requirements of Section 01 50 00, Temporary Facilities and Controls. The Contractor's 111
<br /> payment for this item shall be by Lump Sum. Measurement for this pay item shall be
<br /> estimated on the basis of the percent complete, relative to the overall bid price and the
<br /> actual progress toward project completion.
<br /> 5. Item 5: Trench Safety and Shoring Systems, Section 31 23 35.
<br /> Work under this pay item includes all design, materials, labor,equipment, and incidentals
<br /> required to complete trench safety and excavation shoring associated with the PSO6
<br /> Reroute work, including, and not limited to, furnishing, installing, maintaining and
<br /> removal of trench safety and shoring systems. The work includes shoring, sheeting,
<br /> trench boxes, sloping, inspection, and any other materials, equipment and oversight
<br /> necessary for trench safety in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal
<br /> requirements.
