CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS SECTION 01 50 00 <br /> TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS <br /> 1.3 COMMUNICATION SERVICES <br /> A. Telephone Service: Provide, maintain, and pay for telephone service to field office at time of <br /> Project mobilization and until completion of Work. <br /> B. Facsimile Service: Provide, maintain, and pay for facsimile service to field office at time of <br /> Project mobilization and until completion of Work. <br /> C. Internet Service: Provide, maintain, and pay for broadband Internet service to field office at , <br /> time of Project mobilization. Provide desktop computer with Microsoft operating system and <br /> appropriate office function software,modem,and printer. <br /> 1.4 TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE <br /> A. Provide and pay for suitable quality water service as needed to maintain specified conditions for ' <br /> construction operations. <br /> 1.5 TEMPORARY SANITARY FACILITIES <br /> A. Provide and maintain required facilities and enclosures. Existing facility use is not permitted. <br /> Provide facilities at time of Project mobilization. <br /> 1.6 FIELD OFFICES AND SHEDS <br /> A. Field Office: Weathertight, with lighting, electrical outlets, heating, cooling and ventilating <br /> equipment, and equipped with sturdy furniture including conference table, drawing rack, filing <br /> cabinets,and drawing display table. <br /> B. Provide space for Project meetings,with table and chairs to accommodate six persons. <br /> C. Provide separate workstation, similarly equipped and furnished,for use of Engineer. <br /> D. Locate field offices in a location acceptable to Property Owner. <br /> E. Do not use permanent facilities for field offices or for storage. <br /> F. Construction: Portable or mobile buildings, or buildings constructed with floors raised ' <br /> aboveground,securely fixed to foundations with steps and landings at entrance doors. <br /> 1. Construction: Structurally sound, secure, weathertight enclosures for office and storage <br /> spaces. Maintain during progress of Work;remove enclosures at completion of Work. <br /> 2. Thermal Resistance of Floors, Walls, and Ceilings: Compatible with occupancy and <br /> storage requirements. ' <br /> G. Environmental Control: <br /> 1.
