Establish fire watch for cutting, welding, and other hazardous operations capable of starting <br /> fires. Maintain fire watch before, during, and after hazardous operations until threat of fire does <br /> ' not exist. <br /> B. Portable Fire Extinguishers:NFPA 10; 10-pound capacity,4A-60B: C UL rating. <br /> 1. Provide minimum of one fire extinguisher in every construction trailer and storage shed. <br /> 1.12 BARRIERS <br /> A. Provide barriers to prevent unauthorized entry to construction areas, to allow for Property <br /> Owner's use of Site, and to protect existing facilities and adjacent properties from damage from <br /> ' construction operations and demolition. <br /> B. Protect non-owned vehicular traffic, stored materials, Site,and structures from damage. <br /> 1.13 ENCLOSURES AND FENCING <br /> ' A. Construction: Commercial-grade chain-link fence. <br /> B. Provide 6-foot-high fence around construction Site; equip with vehicular and pedestrian gates <br /> with locks. <br /> 1.14 SECURITY <br /> ' A. Security Program: <br /> I1. Protect Work on site and premises from theft,vandalism, and unauthorized entry. <br /> 2. Initiate program in coordination with Property Owner's existing security program at <br /> Project mobilization and in accordance with requirements in Document 007313 - <br /> ' Supplementary Conditions. <br /> 3. Maintain program throughout construction period and while on Port property. <br /> B. Restrictions: <br /> ' 1. Do not allow cameras on Site or photographs taken except by written approval of <br /> Property Owner. <br /> 2. Do no work on Sundays or holidays. <br /> 1.15 WATER CONTROL <br /> ' A. Maintain excavations free of water. Provide, operate, and maintain necessary pumping <br /> equipment. <br /> ' B. Protect Site from puddles or running water.
