These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2009 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. Provide plans, sections, and details to clearly define the scope of work involved to "remove and replace insulation in basement, correct framing in basement, sheetrock basement" as indicated on the City of Everett permit counter transmittal received on 4/27/12. 2. Provide floor plan with all spaces labeled for the intended use of the space. 3. Show on plans how each space is provided natural light and ventilation per R303 IRC. 4. Provide section of below grade walls. Show required fire blocking and insulation levels. 5. Provide square footage of area being finished (measured to the exterior side of walls). 6. Habitable space, hallways, bathrooms, toilet rooms and portions of basement containing these spaces shall have,a ceiling height of not less than 7'-0".
