The contractor, Ershigs, Inc., and the City Legal team were not able to came to agreement unexpectedly on the Contract Language. Ershig's will not be working on the project. We have negotiated with the second low bidder, K-A General Construction and have awarded the contract to them. Consequently, the changes are as follows: • New Contractor: K-A General Construction, PO Box 2304, Woodinville,WA 98072 • Contractor's License No.: KAGENGC941C3 • Everett Business license number: 047138 • The re-awarded bid construction cost is now: $87,438.11 (plus 8.3%tax= $94,695.47). Scope of work is the same as before,just going with the only other bidder. Please let me know if you need any more information from me to update the permit.
