April 23, 2014 <br /> RESOLUTION — PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 6726 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the city of Everett in the amount <br /> of$3,505,387.36 for the period ending April 5, 2014. <br /> REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS — SURVEYING ROSTER <br /> To authorize a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a <br /> surveying roster. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Moore and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> Council Vice President Bader opened a public hearing regarding Council <br /> Bill No. 1404-16, a proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1671- <br /> 89, with the addition of a section entitled, Unit Lot Subdivisions; Council <br /> Bill No. 1404-17, a proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2328- <br /> 98, Unit Lot Subdivisions; and Council Bill No. 1404-18, a proposed <br /> ordinance amending Chapter 15.16 of EMC Title 15, concerning Unit Lot <br /> Subdivisions. <br /> Allan Giffen, Planning, gave a brief overview of Council Bill No. 1404-16. <br /> He distributed a proposed revision in response to Council Member <br /> Roberts concerns regarding whether the city was at risk in taking over any <br /> private infrastructure on the condominium or on subdivision sites from <br /> existing developments. The language would add a sentence to Section <br /> 15A.100 B that would provide for the city's ability to recoup costs in the <br /> event it was necessary to do any maintenance required of either <br /> infrastructure or common facilities within one of these subdivisions. <br /> 103 <br />
