April 30, 2014 <br /> Council Member Anderson reported on his attendance last Sunday at the <br /> Heroes Half Marathon race, which honors military and their families. He <br /> also reported on his attendance at the Council of Neighborhoods on <br /> Monday, April 28th <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Pete McFall, Everett, spoke about the Emergency Medical Services levy <br /> and the level of service provided to the citizens of Everett. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Structural Deficit Advisory Team Briefing <br /> Presented by Paul Kaftanski, Parks Department <br /> Parks Director Paul Kaftanski presented information on seven proposed <br /> study options including Transit, Police, Fire, Metropolitan Park District, <br /> Sno-Isle Libraries Annexation, Walter Hall Golf Course, and Park Impact <br /> Fee. <br /> Council Member Gipson requested a copy of the agreement with <br /> Community Transit be provided to council members. Transit Director Tom <br /> Hingson stated he would forward a copy of the contract. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher asked that a police study area be added to <br /> look at the feasibility of holding basic law enforcement training in <br /> Snohomish County. <br /> Council President Moore encouraged participation in two upcoming <br /> community meetings to be held on May 8, 2014, and May 13, 2014, 5:30- <br /> 8:00 p.m. <br /> 115 <br />
