The award is to reimburse costs of on-the-water patrols and boating education classes. The application and program approval establishes the framework between the Commission and the EPD for accomplishing the patrols,classes,and special emphasis enforcement. The ultimate goals of the activities are to reduce injury from boating incidents and to promote a safe and enjoyable boating environment for all users.
